Marketplace health insurance in your state
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) established the Health Insurance Marketplace, providing a convenient platform to compare and purchase affordable health insurance plans. It allows you to determine if you're eligible for subsidies or tax credits, helping to reduce your expenses. The ACA's primary goal is to ensure that more individuals have access to comprehensive and affordable health insurance. You can enroll in a Marketplace plan during Open Enrollment, which runs from November 1 to January 15, for most states. Outside of this period, you'll need to experience a Qualifying Life Event, such as losing your health coverage or getting married, to enroll.
